CEO Note: Eleven Years in the Lobby

Yesterday, June 1, marked my 11th year in the #lobbying world (and the prior day, 5/31, I turned 38)!

It’s been a dynamic journey, 2020 aside.

Coming back to Austin post-law school with no network, let alone political ties, and hustling into the Texas Capitol in 2009.

Getting recruited by a highly ranked lobby firm just shy of turning 27. And going from simply wanting to be part of strong lobby team, to wanting to build my own through Bingham Group.

I am very excited about what this decade will bring for the firm.

We will continue growth to meet client business and policy needs in an ever growing Austin metro.

And we will return to the Capitol, and eventually Washington D.C. (and Mexico City if I’m not worn out!).
